Fast, In-Clinic Procedures, Specialist Precision
We use the YAG laser to address two key conditions: posterior capsule opacification (PCO) after cataract surgery, and narrow-angle glaucoma.
Why Choose Our Specialists?

Our focus is on precision, safety, and long-term clarity, ensuring you receive the highest standard of care for growths on the surface of your eye.

YAG Laser Capsulotomy (Treating Secondary Cataract)

Capsulotomy is required when the lens capsule, which holds your new lens implant after cataract surgery, becomes cloudy—a common condition known as Posterior Capsule Opacification (PCO), or secondary cataract.

Restoring Vision Instantly
PCO causes vision to become blurry, hazy, or dim, months or years after successful cataract surgery. The YAG laser creates a tiny opening in the cloudy capsule, immediately restoring clear vision without the need for further incisions.
Painless and Quick
The entire procedure is fast, painless, and performed right here in the clinic. There is no preparation or downtime needed.
Permanent Fix
The capsule will not cloud again once the laser treatment has been successfully performed.
YAG Laser Peripheral Iridotomy (LPI) (Glaucoma Prevention)

LPI is a sight-saving procedure used to prevent or treat angle-closure glaucoma, a condition where the eye's drainage angle is blocked, causing dangerously high eye pressure.

Preventing Acute Loss
LPI is often performed preventatively in patients diagnosed with narrow drainage angles to ensure the pressure cannot spike suddenly, safeguarding your future vision.
Reducing Pressure
The YAG laser creates a tiny, invisible hole in the iris (the colored part of the eye). This hole improves the flow of fluid within the eye, opening the drainage angle and significantly reducing the risk of a glaucoma attack.
Safe and Efficient
The procedure is fast, well-tolerated, and requires only topical anaesthetic drops.
