While many of our patients are referred by their optometrist or GP, you do not require a formal referral to book an initial consultation. However, if you have one, please bring it with you.
We pride ourselves on short wait times. Appointments for consultation and urgent surgery are typically available within 1–2 weeks. If your case is urgent (e.g., trauma or active wet AMD), we will fast-track your visit.
Please allow 1 to 2 hours for your initial consultation. This time is necessary for comprehensive diagnostic testing, imaging, and discussion with your specialist. You may require dilating drops, which can blur your vision for several hours, so please arrange transport (you cannot drive yourself home).
Yes. For many procedures, including Cataract Surgery, we routinely perform surgery on both eyes on the same day for your convenience, safety, and faster visual recovery.
No. We use local anaesthetic, including no-needle techniques, to ensure your procedure is pain-free. You may feel some pressure or sensation, but no pain.

Yes. For all ACC-approved trauma or treatment injury cases, we charge no surcharge or part charge. Your treatment is provided at absolutely no cost to you in our private clinic.
Yes, we understand surgery is an investment. Please discuss your financial needs with our patient care coordinators; we can arrange payment options if required.
